University Research Fellows (Astronomy)

Applications are invited for a number of University Research Fellows in the Centre for Astrophysics Research, within the School of Physics, Astronomy & Mathematics. Research interests should closely match those within the Centre, which cover a wide range of Galactic and Extragalactic projects. Four posts are available, each for 2 years in the first instance, and can start from September 1, 2010.

Candidates should have a PhD, or expect to be awarded a PhD before their start date. The appointment will be on a salary ranging from £25,000 to £28,000, but might be higher for exceptional candidates.
